Sunset Whale Watching
WHAT:
Byron Bay is one of the premier spots on Australia’s east coast to witness the awe-inspiring annual whale migration. Every year, humpback whales journey to warmer waters to mate, give birth, and raise their calves — and you have a front-row seat to the spectacle.
Come aboard for a magical afternoon on the water, guided by our experienced crew: Taylor McKeown (Bachelor of Animal Ecology and passionate whale behaviouralist) and Glenn Sanders (our trusted skipper with decades of whale-watching expertise). Together, they’ll share fascinating whale facts and insights as we search for these magnificent creatures.
As the sun begins to set, painting the sky in hues of pink, orange, and blue, enjoy delicious snacks and the serenity of the ocean. With our onboard hydrophone, you’ll even have the chance to listen to the haunting and beautiful songs of the whales — a truly unforgettable experience.
Adventure, education, and nature’s wonder await. Who knows what other local species we may encounter…
